Our favourite Spring time activity is making nests and playing spring time games! You can gather cleavers or sticky weed (Galium Aparine) through the winter up until March to make the best nests – and they really look like nests!
Different groups will come up with different ideas, but for starters you can investigate more about birds, where they live, what they eat and the different kinds of eggs they may lay.
We often play games where we hide the nests and try to steal the eggs, or add in predator birds to make things more exciting. Sometimes we have gone on an Easter hunt with our nests too.
