10 Inspiring Nature Games & Session Plans

In this free guide, I have offered 10 introductory games and session plans that you can adapt to different spaces and ages.

The step-by-step session plans are based on an animal, bird, plant or tree theme.

Laughing and playing with your group is essential to learning and well-being!

Almost all my outdoor sessions involve offering a nature-based game. We develop new rules to an old game and adapt them to our needs.

When we think about the flow of a session, we often start with inspiration and movement. This brings the group together, is inclusive, often higher energy and will provide a focus for the theme of the day.

Games build community, social skills, listening, observation, excitement, discussion and create a shared responsibility for the process and possible outcomes!
